Mojeek takes your privacy very seriously and therefore make the utmost effort to restrict the amount of personal information gathered when using our search engine and other services.

The standard Mojeek Web Search does not create cookies and does not track any particular user, apart from the usual data recorded in raw web logs, which is no more or less than most other web sites do. But even then, Mojeek goes one step further; we only keep full logs for seven days, after which time the ip is removed and only country of origin kept. Although, Mojeek does make one exception to this rule, if the search query is deemed related to unethical and illegal practices, these records will be kept and gladly handed over to any official authorities that ask.

However, Mojeek Personal Search does require the use of a cookie, although this cookie is only used to establish if you are a logged in Mojeek Personal Search user, it does not track your usage within our web sites. We also go so far as to not even track if it is the official user using their own personal search, or if a particular user has added a particular domain, only the fact some user has added a domain to a personal search account.

Also, in no situation what so ever would Mojeek sell or distribute any personal data collected whilst using our services.
